Nobody but the Reds!
I just root for good games and good series. I hope both the NLSC and ALCS goes 7 games and the World Series too. Long, good series help MLB the most. I will say this I will root against the Yankees and whoever they play.
Reds Fan Since 1971
I like what they've done and how they've done it. Not to mention knocking off the Yankees and Red Sox with their gigabuck-budgets.
I'm reverting back to the playoff mode I've been in for the last 10 years i.e. I just like to watch good and fiercely competitive baseball.
Pay attention to the open sky
Baseball season ended for me Sunday night. On to football.
I won't watch. But your poll is missing my answer.
"Anybody but the Yankees".
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it."
Hoping Rangers win it all. In the NL, rooting for Giants over Philly. BUT, if it comes to a PHI- NYY World Series- Go Phillies!
I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou
With the Reds gone, I don't have my heart into any of the remaining teams, but I lived in the SF Bay Area for many years and have a lot of friends, and some family, that root for the Giants. So I hope they do well.
"The players make the manager, it's never the other way." - Sparky Anderson
"Baseball is a very, very complex business. It's more of a people business than most businesses." - Bob Castellini
Baseball is not the Reds.
Football is a poor replacement for baseball.
I'm rooting for 21 more games and some history.
As a San Franciscan, I'm rooting for the Giants. The bar last night was packed and hollerin' on every pitch. A lot of fun.
I like the Rays and I'm a certifiable Yankee-hater yet....a Yanks-Giants WS would be lot of fun and probably eat up my bar budget.
I know Texas has never made it but I'm still meh about them. Plus I don't like teams named after states.
