    Just asking.....

    1 team's problem for another team's difficulty.....

change of scenery many times aids a MLBer.

It seems like a good idea until your dig deeper and realize that K-Rod has a screw loose.

Better stats all around...... 2.12 ERA, hitters batting around .210 off of K-Rod..........sure, he's a more effective pitcher than Cordero.........but wacko's like him could do something off the field at any minute that could affect their career and the team.

    Not worth it.

    11:$11.5M, 12:$17.5M option ($3.5M buyout) for a head case

I would want to make sure that torn ligament in his pitching hand was healed 1st

Is he still facing jail time?

You left out the most important piece, that option is guaranteed if he finished 55 games next year. No chance the Reds consider this.

Yeah, the Reds are almost out from under Cordero's contract. Even if the stats are better, I'm not sure I like the idea of trading for a longer term (and probably bigger) problem.

Nope, K Rod brings more baggage than a Southwest Airlines flight.
