    How about...Mark Reynolds

It's on record that Reynolds is on the block. Don't beat me up to much, but what about this.

    The Bad:
Arizona is tired of his defense and strikeouts.
    He had a down year.
Going to make $5M this coming year.

    The Good:
He is being compared to Mike Schmidt at his current age. (I know, don't shoot me)
His stats are more than likely to improve compared to last year.
RH middle of the order power bat.
    Rolen's back up.
And at last...a candidate to be moved to LF! (Like Braun)

Alright now you can burn me.

Where do you play him? Awful high strike out rate.

He hit under .200 this year. Arizona isn't exactly a pitcher's ball park either.

He leads the league in strikeouts every year. Seriously, he has had 3 full seasons in MLB. He has led the league in strikeouts in those 3 years.

The guy is Johnny Gomes part 2, but making more money.

Adam Dunn is Jeff Keppinger compared to Mark Reynolds.

I'm thinking no based on these reviews :runawaycr:runawaycr

At first look the .197 screams no...but he still hit 32 HR and had a OBP of .320. Plus he is only 27 so you have to think next year will be better. It is not unrealistic to think his 2011 stats would be somewhere between 2009 and 2010. I am a firm believer in buying low and selling high and he certainly is at a low right now.

$5 million for 2011 isn't terrible but 2012 he is scheduled for 7.5 Million.

My big issue would be where do you play him? He is essentially a 1st/3rd base guy having only played 2 career games in the OF.

He simply does not fit in with the team at all. There is no need at his position. His contract isn't desireable. He really doesn't bring anything to the table that the Reds need.
