The first of multiple awards, I'd hope.

    Yay for Joey!

And thank you MLB for making this presentation a formal type of event so Joey had to dress up and look absolutely smoking adorable. This fangirl needed that today!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Nice thing is that half of the time, the NL winner of this award also won the MVP.

I saw the ceremony last night and immediately thought that Dusty's going to be so jealous Joey got to spend time with Hank Aaron.

I did have to chuckle a bit when Joey brought up Dusty's stories about playing with Hank. It was only fitting.

I saw that too and it was great. The funniest part was when Hank Aaron also started laughing about the reference, LOL

"I think it'll go seven games," Votto said of Giants-Rangers. "I'm hoping for that because I don't care about either team. I have my team. But it's good for baseball. I care about the mid-markets doing well."
