    Can the Yanks actualy sign Jeter now

    I thought that if the Yankees didnt offer him arbitration he couldnt resign with them tilll May 15th. Did i miss something? They didnt offer him did they. So how can they resign him. Im lost.

    That's in the "old" player association agreement. There's no waiting period now.

    So if the Reds wanted to resign Rhodes they could do it today. They wouldnt have to wait till May to do so? Is that correct?
