Wrigley added some club seats since the last time football was played there and it wasn't possible to have the say layout that was used before. The way the field is now was the only way to make it fit (barely).

Well the bottom picture (current) shows an end zone in RF and LF is a sideline as we're viewing it from behind home pate

Looks like in the old picture that they did not have any LF bleachers at that time.

Yes. ESPN explained that there's permanent bleachers now that prevent the old configuration. There were bleachers there before, but they were temporary and removed for football games.

The idea of loser walks at this level is hilarious.

I can't imagine how irate I'd be if I paid good money for the "other" endzone seats.

All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

It's Wrigley Field. Only the posers sit in the bleachers. No one in those seats ever cares about anything that actually happens on the field, other than Sammy Sosa racing out alike a buffoon.

The most disconcerting part of this whole thing is that Northwestern is the school that flubbed this. North-freaking-western. If we can't trust the powers-that-be at Northwestern to be able to work a little geometery and arithmetic, the world is in even worse shape than I thought.
