Jonathan Correa for me. Like Corcino, Correa has drawn some comparisons to Johnny Cueto. The only reason I rated Correa above Corcino is I like his K/9 better.

Been going with Correa for a while now, just like that arm long term.

    Voted for Lecure.

Soto is being underrated. I will vote for him next.

Soto had 33 doubles and 21 homers at High A ball. That power of his is starting to emerge. His OBP is still low, but he is showing meaningful power as he advances.

torreyes again for me, though he & arias were a toss up in my eye. Holding out hope that they both spend the whole season in Dayton this year.

I agree very much that Soto is being underrated around here. He'll probably get my vote after Correa.

LeCure again but I also consider Soto to be massively undervalued here.

LeCure again. At some point, being a bona fide major leaguer, even one with a low ceiling puts you ahead of a bunch of question marks in the low minors.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Absolutely. I'll usually give the benefit to someone who's actually proven he can play Major League ball over some who had some decent numbers five stops away.

I see him as a journeymen, swing/emergency player when he pitches in the majors. Is that really bona fide? I could see him around 23-25 or so but when talking prospects potential ceilings bring up your value not floors.

At some point though, you need to include not just the level of the ceiling but the likelihood of it being reached. Perhaps I'm selling Soto short, but I have trouble getting too excited about guys who put up mediocre numbers in the minors at an appropriate age.

If you asked me to go down that list and project an average expectation of total career major league production, LeCure grades out pretty well.

Torreyes beating the crap out of the Venezuelan summer league and Rookie ball makes me raise an eyebrow, but I need more than a few hundred plate appearances at the lowest levels of professional baseball.
