If you had a chance to meet and talk with any former Reds player who played for them prior to 1965, who would it be?
My choice....Ewell Blackwell

When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Christy Mathewson.
The big Klu for me. Randomly went to the game a number of years back when his number was retired. Read about him and was impressed. Interesting man.
Edd Roush
I would have wanted to know everything I could about the 1919 World Series from his perspective.
Also, one of my favorite historical Baseball figures is John McGraw. He played for McGraw on two different occassions. I would have loved to learn about McGraw from him...even though I know from books I have read about Roush..that he did not like McGraw.
