It is so good. Season three comes back in October, I believe.

Under the Dome isn't an awful show but I wouldn't be watching it if it was on during the season because it would get beat out by a ton of my other shows. It's just light summer TV viewing for me.

Anyone else watching Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls? It's pretty cool. I love all the survival stuff they've been doing and the locale scenery is amazing. I only watch it because it's on after America Ninja Warrior (also great summer fluff TV ) but I've been enjoying it. I would never get out alive though if I was there, LOL

I was going to say, there are certainly a number of poorly made stephen king books turned movie/mini series, but there are definently a lot of good ones as well.

I'll add It to that list. It wasn't as great as it could have been, but considering it was on regular TV, which limited the amount of stuff they could do, it was pretty good.

The Running Man was pretty good, fit into the action film genre very well.

Had HBO, showtime, AMC, Starz, etc... all been doing miniseries in the 80s & 90s the way they do them today, I'm thinking several of his poorly made movies, could have been done much better, in much better detail in that medium.

Very close to mine as well. I think I may flip the top two, but the others are right on.

I could flip them as well - I just like the Belgravia story line better, but A Study in Pink lays down the foundation to the series extremely well.

anyone catch low winter sun (or whatever its called) following breaking bad? Had me intrigued enough to record it next week. I think there's potential there, but I'm afraid that if its a success they'll throw random twists at you just to keep the same story line going rather.

That actress with the horrible Russian accent almost ruins it for me.

I'll watch it for a few weeks. It seems like a show that had it been on 5 years ago would have been a huge hit, but now just seems like a par for the course cable drama.

I just started to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Good god that's the most wrong show on TV. Hilarious as heck.

Re: Official RedsZone Television Viewing Thread

The first few seasons of Always Sunny are way better than the recent stuff. I just don't think they're getting the solid storylines they had initially, and it seems like they're running out of material.

I'm with Heather on Under the Dome, and I'm a huge King fan. I wouldn't be watching that show if other new shows were on. The writing and acting is really cheesy. Pains me to see Dean Norris go from Breaking Bad to that show.

My required viewing currently on TV:

    Breaking Bad (ends 9/29)
    Homeland (starts back up 9/29)
Justified (back in January, I think?)
    The Americans (back in January)

I don't know what I'll do when BB is done. Cry, I guess.
