Pretty much this. I watched the whole season but I think I'm finished. It's just bad. The FBI look like idiots and it's never ending.

Good example of good pilot I'd say The Shield.

I've always kind of wanted to be a Nielsen family, if only to help drop the ratings of garbage like Teen Mom or Toddlers and Tiaras....

You might not care about ratings but they do matter.

    Example:

The Walking Dead get's massive numbers. One of the most watched shows on TV and it's a cable show. I don't think it's the best show on cable but is really popular.

A few years ago FX had a show called Terriers (Look it up on Netflix if haven't seen it. It's really good) That got crappy numbers and was cancelled after 1 season.
    Terriers was AWESOME.

thats essentially what I mean..Im not going to look at ratings to decide if a show is good or bad..im going to give it a try and then see how I feel

Well I was. Then I watched the pilot. Then I ran to Wikipedia and read through the synopsis of the book so I wouldn't have to watch the rest of the show.

"Terriers" was a fantastic show. Such a shame it didn't get a longer leash.

Watching Freaks and Geeks on Netflix. Four episodes in and I'm hooked. Wish it had been able to last.
You can see why Franco and Siegle are stars.

Every time I see That Seventies Show on tv I become angry that this show survived and Freaks & Geeks didn't.

If only F&G had had the decency to use a laugh track so people would know when something funny happened.

I think F&Gs holds up a little better, but rewatchability isn't the only factor for judging. That's a tough call.

Definitely my 1-2 as well, just not sure which order I'd put them in.
