    Don't expect that every year. In fact, that pretty well shows why they can't bump it up again this year

    I want to see the REDS get to that 90-95 range.

    Hopefully we'll have a big attendance bump next season that can justify going higher.

    For all the talk about the Rangers doing too much spending, they managed to cut payroll while still making it to the playoffs. They even spent less than the Reds.

    It sometimes amazes me how anyone can be a Marlins or Pirates fan these days. Rough going when your payroll is half that of teams like the Reds!

    EDIT: I should probably mention the Padres, Indians and A's in that same breath, too.

    I was actually surprised to see that the Padres are the new lowest payroll MLB team. The Marlins passed both them and the Pirates.
