I go the other way. This sounds like murder with a story concocted by the defense attorney. He dumped the body elsewhere, he disposed of the weapon.
How do you accidently shoot a friend? How close have any of you come to accidentally shooting your friend?
I'm not saying this is the case here, but it is entirely possible for an accidental shooting to occur. I've known about plenty of people who were killed from accidental firing, even though it usually happened while they were hunting. The most recent year I can find from a quick search was 2006 in which there were 642 accidental firing deaths. Just google it and you will see plenty of stories where one friend accidently shot and killed another. Its not very common, but it definitely happens.
Its sad either way.
And, Ed Reed's brother jumps off a bridge into the Mississippi while being chased by the police and disappears.
Obvious murder.
