Big time advantage to a team like Seattle.
And yet the Giants, Chiefs and Falcons (all playoff or playoff bubble teams) all went to Seattle and won this year. It's a tough place to play but it was still a sub-.500 team. The Saints have no excuses.

Exactly. If the Seahawks were such a bad team, NO should have rolled them whether the game was in SEA, New Orleans or Fargo. I think that's one of the great things about the NFL. If something seems like a sure thing, it probably isn't. Look at that Browns-Pats game this year. All these guys are pros. You can't let down against anyone.

Well, the NY Post had fun today with the upcoming Jets-Pats game. I think it's funny that the Red Sox refer to the Yankees as the Evil Empire, and the Jets refer to New England the same way.

    This ^^^^.

I can't say I'm rooting for the Patriots, but I have become somewhat of a closet fan since moving here in 2006. I am however rooting for them to beat the Jets, who I've come to hate. And if the Pats face the Steelers next week, I'll be the biggest Pats fan around.

I hope the Jets keep it up. I'd just like to see the best rb of the last decade+ get a ring.

Re: NFL Playoffs: Who Are You Rooting For?

I found myself pulling really hard for the Pats... a first for me. I just don't see the Jets having any chance against Pittsburgh. I don't have too much room in my life for sports hate, but Ben Roethlisberger is an exception.
