Big turnout expected.

I'm thinking about going by in a bit. The class I'm teaching now ends at 2:45, and the local caravan stop is at 3:30. Just not sure what to do when I get there.
Wish I'd had my camera with me.
The first question was whether Aaron Harang and his wife had had their twins yet. Yep. A boy and a girl.
Also, Walt said he had been on the phone with Edinson's agent when they pulled in, and he hoped to get something done by the end of the week.
Just came back from the one in Athens. Very disorganized(and busy)as the line was messed up because there were no ropes set up.
They only question that is worth mentioning was dusty mentioning Bruce for a lead off hitter.
I told Welch that he need to grow his porn mustache back. Thought the dude was gonna punch me. After looking surprised for a few seconds, he told me that he will when people quit calling it a porn mustache. Dusty chimed in and Welch blamed it all on Marty, as Chris said that Marty called it that on air. Dusty was like, no way, and Chris pointed at me for verification .I quickly blamed in all on Marty.
Other then that, Brantley's sick and was missing, Frazier's a pretty big dude, and Woods not.
Had a good time.
Interesting. Walt was asked who'd bat leadoff and he said it was down to Stubbs, Fred Lewis (who he talked a bit about), Phillips and...
at that point he paused, looking as if he was searching for a name, then said, "I guess that's it."
btw, on the way home I heard an ad for the Pirates caravan coming to town. Tickets were 'only' $20 a pop.
It's good to be a Reds fan.

With the help of Butcher, Herms, and Rollins, JRam is churning out all kinds of caravan-goodness.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

I was planning on going to GABP yesterday and Hamilton today, but a 2 year old with a temperature hovering between 101-102 nixed those plans.
I was going to go the Bowling Green yesterday, but my near 2 year old has RSV and I stayed home to help with that. Looks like they had a good turnout.
"My mission is to be the ray of hope, the guy who stands out there on that beautiful field and owns up to his mistakes and lets people know it's never completely hopeless, no matter how bad it seems at the time. I have a platform and a message, and now I go to bed at night, sober and happy, praying I can be a good messenger." -Josh Hamilton
