But when you're being lobbied with questions like "what was the event like? Was everybody standing in a single file line?" irrelevant.
Yes, baffoon. He seemed clueless. He didn't know the name of the FBI agent in charge of the investigation for the Feds (who was standing right next to him), and had to ask him for his name, then made a joke about it. 6 people were killed a bunch injured and you are going stand there and make a little joke? Nice. When asked about the number of deaths, he got the number incorrect. He seemed more interested in preaching about "vitriol" from various sources that "caused this".

He doesn't know what caused it, he didn't even know the basics of the situtation or much about the on going investigation. His job is to present the facts as they are, and answer questions about the investigation going forward, not make jokes and keep talking about useless crap.

So yes, he's a baffoon. Hopefully the FBI or the Marshals take over the investigation.

More incredible was the wounded woman who walked up to the shooter and took one of his clips from him while he was trying to reload. That took some courage.

Word has it it was a 2 person operation. Some man with a minor head wound tackled him, and held him down while a middle-aged lady grabbed the ammo.

Could be. I thought I heard the FBI Dir. say that the woman got to him and took his clip from him and the shooter pushed her down tried to put the clip back in but it misfired and that's when two men tackled him.

Looking at his youtube channel, the guy has to be mentally ill. Just weird, idiotic stuff. It's a shame people like this can get so isolate that family, friends, whomever aren't able to help them before they go and do something tragic.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

In fairness, it wasn't just NPR. Fox News, CNN, NBC and many others were reporting the same thing. Everybody got it wrong.

And to nit pick the rest of the thread, handguns don't use "clips", they use magazines.

Well both the Sheriff and the FBI Dir. said "clip".

Westboro Church is now going to picket the funerals of the victims. What a travesty...
