    PHILADELPHIA -- The 9-year-old girl killed by a gunman who opened fire at an Arizona congresswoman's event is the granddaughter of former manager Dallas Green, the Philadelphia Phillies said Sunday.

    I understand this has taken a turn that makes it a 'baseball' story, but there is really nothing baseball about this tragedy.

    Let's keep the discussion contained to the one thread already going on the shooting.
