My sophomore year at OU, I was a grill cook at the local Athens Frisch's (nothing like being a full-time student and having a full-time job). Worked the evening shift, 4-midnight.
I was poor. Like, the money I made paid for books and rent. Not much left for food. So I ate a big meal at Frisch's for dinner and occasionally "borrowed" food from the walk-in cooler. One of those things was a big wax gallon container of either Frisch's chili or vegetable soup. I ate that stuff all the time for a year. Like, every day. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner (what can I say, I was a college student).
I still loves me a Big Boy with extra sauce and onion rings, but the thought of Frisch's chili or vegetable soup makes me pale. I ate a lifetime's worth in 9 months.
I bet, I like it alot myself but only because I eat it maybe 3-4 times a year. Speaking of the Big Boy it's the only slaw covered sandwich I have ever enjoyed.
