    So what are your thoughts on this, compared to the Votto deal. This deal buys out all three arb. years, and one FA year.

    Oh, absolutely not. I wasn't saying they were similar players. Just curious about your thoughts on the value of this deal compared to the value of the Votto deal.

    i agree. however if butler was playing in a more hitter friendly park is numbers would be closer. also the royals lineup is awful.
    there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.
