Hopefully this is the last time I have to vote for Fleury. As stated in other threads, gotta love a .896 OPS second half from a lefty-hitting catcher in the Midwest League. Barnhart is next, but I want a guy who has produced a little more in professional ball first.

With Johnson in, it's back to Barnhart. Although I can't argue much with Fleury. Looks like we might get catchers back-to-back. That would make four in the top thirty-something. Don't suspect that's happened in a while.

Although they're very far from the majors, it's between Waldrop and Valor for me.

Jeremy Horst. Left handed reliever who actually has more success against righties than lefties. Average stuff, but above average control and polish. Maybe nothing more than a 7th inning reliever, but I think he is a safe pick to be a major leaguer.

Close call on the catchers, but I went with Barnhart - because he's nearly three years younger. Plus, I've read that his intangibles are off the charts.

Glad to see Jacob Johnson finally land in the poll. And, you have to love the catcher depth.

Speaking of catching depth, everyone seems to have forgotten about Kevin Coddington. I was never particularly high on him, personally, but he's no slouch. Is he a top-50 prospect? Top-80?

Certainly Top 80 because of the defense, but I wouldn't have him Top 50. We simply have too many good players to rank him any higher.

I went with Humberto Valor. I like his tools and plate approach (16 BB/19 K in 231 PA). We'll probably see him in the AZL this season.

Glad to see Fleury leading this. I'm debating among Valor, Barnhart, and Fairel for the next spot.

Re: Who is Redszone's #34 prospect?

Valor is intriguing. Seems like he has great bat control (I love guys who are hard to strike out almost as much as I love guys who take a walk) and a frame that should fill out quite a bit.

Can someone fill in some details about his background? I realize he's still young. Was he a high-dollar prospect out of Venezuela?

And, how's his defense? Can he play a legit short?
