Horst for me. LH Reliever who gets guys out. Opportunity alone probably means he's more likely to contribute in the majors over many of the others. There are probably lower level guys who should be ahead of him, but unless they are studs I can't pick them at this point. Need to see some results in full season ball first.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Jeremy Horst for me, for about 9 spots in a row now. Stuff wise, he is MLB average. Polish wise, he is at the very least MLB average. Control wise, he is above average.

Other guys might have a few better tools, but from an entire package standpoint, especially when we factor in his proximity to the majors, I really don't like anyone at this point better than Horst.

Re: Who is Redszone's #36 prospect?

The thing that first impressed me was his 2008 season in Dayton, when, after being moved from the bullpen to the rotation, he really carried the team into the playoffs. He was extremely clutch in the big games down the stretch, and I believe in the playoffs as well. I was surprised that they returned him to the bullpen, but he's done well . . . Anyway, I voted for him here. Next is Hotchkiss.

Re: Who is Redszone's #36 prospect?

Picking relievers with good stats in the minors to get a cup of coffee is boring, uninteresting prospect analysis.
Talking about athletic, raw arms and infielders in VSL, DSL and rookie league ball is far more interesting.
Anyone hear of Samuel Diaz? I thought he was in the mix with Valor and Torreyes and Arias as a young INF prospect.

For me, it's Fairel, Horst, Carroll, all extremely close, though, like Goya, I also wonder about Klinker. I hope the 2011 version looks like the 2009, not the 2010.

I went with Fairel again but can someone give me a run down on Waldrop. I saw he was up on the BA list. Also can Fellhauer get on the list for consideration.

Uninteresting and boring, perhaps.... but that doesn't mean it isn't accurate.

Looks like my guy isn't gonna be making it (Silva) so I went with Valor.

I went Horst. I like lefties who can strike guys out in the upper levels of the minor leagues.

Went with Waldrop. Scouting reports make him sound like a Jay Bruce light.

That boys and girls, is a good thing.
