I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Soon to be followed by his been with any team streak.

Has Cleveland started printing playoff tickets?

Don't worry, he's competing for the 2B gig...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I always loved watching Cabrera when he was with the Expos. He could really pick it at SS and was a decent hitter too. He wasn't nearly the same player last season due to age, but I'll still remember him as being on the team that ended the 15 year playoff drought.

My friend who is an Indians' fan seems to think he will be competing with Jayson Nix for the third base job. The years of hoping Andy Marte will figure it out are over in Cleveland.

The thing I'll remember most about OC was when he got hurt in game 2 and everyone in the game thread was happy about it lol.
