Re: Who is Redszone's #41 prospect?

Thanks for keeping this going, c'golf. It'll be interesting to see the 10 additional names we add to the list, and whether, in time, they compare to the previous 10 or 20.

I voted last time for Chase Ware, but the discussion turned me toward Tanner Robles. Matt Fairel is also awfully good to still be around, I think.

I had planned to go back to Fairel when Carroll was off the board, but the discussion convinced me to go with Robles as well. Klinker also looks interesting.

Picked Sulbaran again, who can forget that WBC performance he had a couple of years ago, I guess most everyone.

I also want to add that I think Brian Pearl and Juan Silva will prove to be better than most available at this point and even some already voted in.

His 200+ IP since then certainly outweigh his 0.2 innings in an exhibition game.

I am voting Josh Ravin here, though he isn't on the ballot.

I went Klinker here over Fairel and Robles. I liked Klinker's K-rate and the fact that he was a little more advanced than Fairel, although Fairel is left-handed. Robles could end up being the best of the three, but I went with Klinker here because he is more advanced.

Edd, need to remember the comparative ages. Fairel's almost three full years younger than Klinker. He had success in AA in 2010 as a 23 year old; at the same age, Klinker was, IIRC, in Billings.

I understand that Klinker has been much older Fairel at pretty much every level. That being said, without watching either of them play, I am just going off the numbers I see. Right now, I have Klinker, Robles and Fairel in the same tier of starting pitching prospect with each of them having advantages over the others. I see your point with Fairel and I look forward to following his development this year.
