My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
I expected that the failure rate would be high; it's the story of baseball. It's just incredibly hard to make it to the major leagues and to be reasonably successful there. And boy, the time period examined was just brutal to our beloved Reds - almost 85% of our prospects (32 total) were busts.
