The few times I've sampled this show, it didn't appeal to me at all. Come to think of it, I'm not a fan of any Chuck Lorre's shows.

Something tells me we haven't seen the last of Sheen or 2 and a half men. That show makes a ton of money and networks don't just cancel the #1 comedy on TV. I could very easily see the show coming back on in a month or two.
During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years without ever hitting the ball. ~Mickey Mantle, 1970
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning
They should swap in Emilio Estevez and hope no one notices.
"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference." ~Tommy Lasorda
Maybe it's because he's such a Reds fan -- and I don't know what this says about me -- but I found myself agreeing with a lot of what Charlie Sheen has said. Don't get me wrong, dude is clearly out of his tree, and his conspiratorial delusions (i.e. Vatican Assassins) are clearly the markings of a man losing his grip on reality, but...
AA is kind of cultish. I know it's helped a lot of people and if it helped you or a loved one then far be it from me to denigrate that. And I doubt Charlie is cured from his addiction. BUT... he is mostly right on his criticism. AA is hardly the only option to recovery (as AA claims). AA's success rate is indeed 5%, which is about the success rate for recovering addicts across the board, with or without AA. AA does require you to submit to a higher power. Inexplicably, US courts can force people to complete AA, which is a 1st amendment issue.
Crack isn't that bad. Well, crack is certainly bad (mmkay), but not as bad as people tend to think. It's basically no worse than powder cocaine. So, when Charlie says that people should only use crack if they can handle it, it's not as wildly crazy as people have said. If you think that people can use powder cocaine recreationally and in moderation, then the same holds true for crack. Crack and powder cocaine are the same chemically -- it's akin to the alcohol in vodka being the same as the alcohol in wine. Sure, it's perhaps a more efficient delivery method of the drug, but if crack is more addictive than powder cocaine, it is only marginally so. And yet crack use is almost universally shamed, while powder cocaine use is somewhat tolerated as acceptable (depending on your disposition, I suppose). The reason crack carries the stigma it does is mainly due to racism, IMO. And the significantly stiffer legal ramifications for crack possession vs. powder cocaine possession are a travesty and a black mark on our society (again, IMO).
Chuck Lorre definitely sucks. If you've seen Two and A Half Men, you know this.
Charlie Sheen is reminding me of the death spiral that Chris Farley went on, years ago. The behind the scenes part of his story was just as bad. Farley guest hosted SNL shortly before he died and you could see he was going to cause his own death. Charlie Sheen will be dead soon if he doesn't get help.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
So Charlie does post on this board, not surprising I guess.
I thought it was kinda funny that in the interview Charlie kept using Lorre's real last name, as if that was some sort of slam. While at the same time he doesn't go by Carlos Estevez.

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.
CBS cannot afford to completely cancel the series I am sure Charlie and the gang will be back next year.

If anyone could make me a real signature that would be awesome I am not great with photoshop.
I dunno, CBS is rolling in high rated shows right now, they may just get away with doing away with Chuckies show.

I'm not going to miss it. I've always called it "Two And A Half Men And Zero Laughs."
