Part of me has to wonder if this was all a prearranged skit. But you also have to consider that for CBS, the writers, actors, and Charlie returning to Two in a Half Men was probably in the best interest for everyone involved.

Aren't people already bored with him? He was a hit, said some awesome stuff, but has faded away. Sheen can't compete with March Madness or Opening Day. He did give some comic relief for a couple of weeks.

I agree with this.He's always been an interesting guy but lately he's gone completely crazy.I don't think this just happens over night to someone that has all of what he has.Kinda reminds me of when Joequin Phoenix retired from acting to start up a rap career.
