With the final fourth round pick, the Jaguars turn back to the Mountain State and select Noel Devine (RB-WVU)

This is a project pick and Devine is a bit small, but if injuries are behind him, he can be an instant impact on special teams. All he needs to do is bulk up some and he could be a similar back to MJD.

Re: Official 2011 Redszone NFL Mock Draft thread ...

After having secured two CB's, Aaron Williams of Texas and Chimdi Chekwa of Ohio State (one can play Safety in place of Ed Reed), and a WR to stretch the field (Boise State's Titus Young), the Ravens look to give Cam Cameron another weapon to use in the middle of the field.

With the 26th pick of the 4th Round, the Baltimore Ravens select Tight End Jordan Cameron of USC.

At 6-5-1/2, 254, he has the size to play Tight End. Cam Cameron might try to use him to complement Ray Rice as an H-back, but he'll be primarily groomed to be Todd Heap's backup in case he has another injury this season, or if Cam wants to run some Two-Tight-End sets. He's raw as a Tight End, so he'll need the time to develop as Heap enters the last year of a six-year contract.

Junior college transfer who came to USC as a receiver. Record 16/126/1 as a backup tight end in 2010. Also played basketball on the college level. Opened up some eyes at the Shrine Game and had a terrific workout at the combine. Though a late 4th Round pick in our draft, should not last to the 4th Round in the real one.

Athletic tight end prospect who is just hitting his stride on the football field. Fluid releasing off the line, displays good movement skills and makes a lot of athletic plays on the field. Gets vertical in a crowd and extends then looks the ball into his hands. Takes the big hit but holds onto the ball. Breaks down well, blocks with leverage, and gives effort. Extends to make catches away from his frame. Plus, he's got the same last name as his Offensive Coordinator. No relation.

Todd Heap had a resurgent year, catching 53 passes for 593 yards and six touchdowns. But Heap’s six-year contract is set to expire after next season and the Ravens could look for insurance in case Heap isn’t resigned or went down with injury. L.J. Smith’s one-year Baltimore tenure resulted in just two catches and the Ravens don’t have another receiving threat behind him. A pass-catching tight end would boost Baltimore’s passing game.

The New England Patriots select with their final pick in this draft, Lawrence Wilson (OLB-Connecticut)

OLB is an area of concern for the Patriots in this draft, and the Patriots have had some success with Big East players.

    New England Selections:
    1a.Muhammad Wilkerson (DE-Temple)
    1b.Mike Pouncey (G-Florida)
    2a.Mikel LeShore (RB-Illinois)
    2b.Randall Cobb (WR-Kentucky)
    3a.Jospeh Barksdale (OT-LSU)
    3b.John Moffitt (OG-Wisconsin)
    4.Lawrence Wilson (OLB-UConn)

Depends on injuries. I was at the WVU-Rutgers game last season and he is a shell of his former self. Tavon Austin was more impressive and I'd venture to say (unless Holgorsen changes it) that he will be the starting tailback this year. I do think if Devine bulks up he could be a similar back to Maurice Jones-Drew, but injuries will dictate explosiveness.

Re: Official 2011 Redszone NFL Mock Draft thread ...

With the Jets going Defense with their 1st two picks of the draft, (1st Rounder Justin Houston, OLB Georgia and 3rd Rounder Christian Ballard DE, Iowa...no 2nd Round pick), the Jets go away from the obvious choice of an Offensive player and stay with their commitment to improve their pass rush by selecting with the 29th pick of the 4th Round, Central Florida's Defensive Lineman Bruce Miller.

Miller will be converted to Outside Linebacker in the NFL, and that's where the Jets will play him.

Georgia was averaging 34.3 points a game this year, but the Bulldogs never sniffed the endzone thanks to UCF's Bruce Miller's 1-1/2 sacks in the 4th Quarter including one on the final drive.

Miller has the size, athleticism and football intelligence to provide immediate depth as a backup 3-4 outside linebacker and is a hard worker who could become a starter in time. Refined pass rusher who can arrive at the quarterback with quickness on the edge, speed to power moves, or slip inside but just lacks a striking closing burst. While he can get eaten up at times when run at, uses hands well, fights hard to disengage, can penetrate, and makes plays from the backside with relentless effort in pursuit. Miller is a mid-round prospect whose intangibles lessen the risk of his projected conversion to OLB.

Miller was third overall among particpants at the combine with 35 reps at the bench-press. At 6'1", 245, he crushes people when he hits them. The 2009 and 2010 Conference-USA Defensive Player-of-the-Year, gets himself in the backfield and plays with the same verocity as Clay Matthews of the Packers. The Jets got a future starter with this pick.

The Jets are ecstatic that he was still available this late in the draft.

Conference-USA Defensive recognition went to UCF senior DE Bruce Miller, who becomes the first C-USA player to win that honor in back-to-back years since Adalius Thomas of Southern Miss in 1998-99. He owns the UCF career record for sacks with 34.0, a figure that is tied for third in C-USA history. Miller leads the nation in career sacks among active players, and is fifth all-time in the FBS (sacks record started being kept in 2000). The three-time All-Conference selection has recorded 55 tackles, 7.0 sacks and a team-high 11.5 tackles for loss this season. Miller also registered 18 quarterback hurries, forced two fumbles and recorded two interceptions, returning them both for touchdowns.

It was while the Jets were investigating Outside Linebacker, Justin Houston of Georgia where they were convinced the best defensive player of the 2010 Liberty Bell was not Houston, but was Bruce Miller of Central Florida. They'd never forgive themselves if they took Houston and failed to also grab Miller.

[This is a player I'd love to see the Bengals' draft, but you actually have to have a scouting department to get this guy. I don't think he'll make it to their 5th Round pick (3rd overall in the 5th), so they'd have to grab him with their 4th Round pick in order to get him. He's projected to be a late round pick (6th or 7th, and falsely in my opinion), so if it were me, I'd hold off until the 5th Round and just hope that he's there, jumping all over him if he's there. He's the type of player that the Jets or the Patriots would grab at the end of the 4th Round. I have the same opinion of him that I had of Pierre Garcon three years ago. The Colts grabbed him, while the Bengals were asleep at the wheel (Garcon went to College in Ohio)]

The Packers haven't had a decent return man since Desmond Howard. Could also use some depth in the secondary. Will take Utah State cornerback Curtis Marsh.
