Reds44 -- as the Tampa Bay draft rep, I expect you to not repeat the folly of last year's mock draft, which had the Buccaneers taking Sam Bradford for some inexplicable reason (actually, the explanation was "I looked at Josh Freeman's rookie numbers and thought there's no way he can ever be a decent starting QB.").

I'm going to be offline for most of the night. If TopCat makes his pick tonight, I'll be able to pick for the Cowboys tomorrow a.m.

With the 10th overall pick, the Washington Redskins select: Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina

With the Redskins switch to a 3-4 defense, Quinn will fill a huge hole on the defensive line. Kid has a crazy motor and will be a playmaker.

Outstanding athlete with the tools to be an elite pro pass rusher

North Carolina’s Robert Quinn didn’t play this past season after being suspended for his role in the agent scandal in Chapel Hill. As a result some seem to have forgotten just how good Quinn is, but that will change once teams go back to watch his sophomore film and see him perform in workouts. Quinn is one of the most talented prospects in this draft and a potentially dominant pass rusher.

With the 11th pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Houston Texans select Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska.

The Texans owned one of the worst pass defenses in the history of the NFL. Drafting Amukamara is a great start to fixing it.

With the 12th pick the Minnesota Vikings select AJ Green WR Georgia

In 1998 the Vikings selected Randy Moss because he fell to them. History is repeating itself. The Vikings have needs at other positions, but having a player like this available on the draft board reminds them just how much they needed to make the trade for Randy Moss. Percy Harvin has durability concerns, and Sidney Rice is still recovering from a serious injury and has been unhappy about his contract.

With the 13th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select Tyron Smith, OT, USC.

The Lions need to keep Matthew Stafford's blindside clean to keep him healthy. Smith "has the potential to develop into a top-flight left tackle in the NFL."

// Side note - I hoped Green would fall to here. While the Lions need help on defense and the OL, re-uniting Green with Stafford while teaming up with Megatron could make Detroit very dangerous.

With the 14th pick the St. Louis Rams select Defensive Tackle, Corey Liuget, Illinois

This move helps solidify a young and improving defense.

I like it, Smith really has the athleticism to be top flight. Not sure if I like him better than Solder, but not sure I don't either and the Lions really need to protect their QB.

With the 15th overall pick, the Miami Dolphins select Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama.

Dolphins need to get back to a running team, Ronnie Brown is getting old, and Ricky Williams is most likely going to end up elsewhere. I was going to draft a QB is Ingram wasn't here, because Henne is NOT the answer in Miami. With Mark, even without a new QB, Henne wouldn't have to throw the ball as much with a YOUNG workhorse in the backfield.
