    Reds at Rockies 3-14-11

    Stubbs CF
    Phillips 2B
    Votto DH
    Rolen 3B
    Bruce RF
    Gomes LF
    Hernandez C
    Alonso 1B
    Janish SS

    Roenicke P

Pretty close to what I think will be the opening day lineup. Just dump Yonder for the pitcher, swap Janish to the 8 hole.

    Chacin going for the Rocks.

Unfortunately...no WLW today. At least not that I can see.

    Stubbs HBP
Phillips stands by his statement of seeing more pitches. Draws the walk.
Votto grounds out to the right side. Helton flips to the pitcher. Both runners advance.
Rolen sac fly to LF. Stubbs scores. Phillips to 3rd
Bruce just misses a dinger to center. But the Reds get one across.

    1-0 Reds, middle of 3.

Reineke is done. Billy Bray on the hill for the 3rd.

Chacin grounds out to Rolen. It seems like every team is letting their pitchers hit some...except us. Seems odd.
    Dexter Fowler singles to left
Jordan Pacheco double to the LF corner. Fowler scores.
Seth Smith singles to center. Pacheco scores. *sigh*
    Smith caught stealing.
    Tulo walks.
    Helton flies out to Stubbs.

    2-1 Rockies after 3.

I absolutely LOATHE seeing the Reds score and then give back some the following half inning. Drives me NUTS!

Gomes K's swinging, lowering his ST average to .083. Woo Hoo! Play him FULL TIME Dusty! :O)
    Hernandez grounds out to 2nd
Yonder drives one to the wall, but it's hauled in.

2-1 Rockies middle of the 4th

    Re: Reds at Rockies 3-14-11

9th inning, Hermida singles to lead off, Heisey doubles him in to tie the game.

Unfortunately, DRH came in (after Chapman) and allowed a single, a sac bunt (by Willy T of all people) and a run scoring single to win it.

3-2 loss. Other than Bray & Hererra, pretty good pitching performance from Reineke, Chapman & Masset.
