    Chapman

Anyone else concerned about Chapman's wildness recently?

If he doesn't get that ironed out I'm wondering how effective he'll be in late innings. How comfortable will it be to bring him into the 8th inning with runners on base? He may need to go to AAA to find his control again.

That would put Cordero, Massett, Bray, Ondrusek, Willis, Burton, Lecure in the pen.

    "Chapman, closer of the future?"

And by "the future" they mean "after CoCo gets lit up 4 or 5 times in a row and it's only April."

Am I the only one that sees that Coco is washed up?
    Oooo "he lost weight"...

We'll see how that works out for him.

Yes, I am concerned about his wildness. It remains his single biggest problem. I know everyone wants to annoint him the closer, but he still seems like a guy who has a lot to prove. His velocity drops off a great deal when he has to go a few days in a row, which a closer has to do at times. I hope they are still open to the idea of him as a starter. If he does not get that worked out he will not be very effective late in games. He is far from a finished project. He has ace potential, but his future will be determined by his ability to command his stuff. Who knows how long it will take, but we may have to endure some uncomfortable moments before he reaches his potential.

Not at all gotta knock off the rust. He will be fine by the regular season it is hard to control a 100 mph ball when you have rested for a bit.
