    Player on the rise

I asked one of the coaches to identify a minor league player this spring that looks a lot better than he did last year. He responded with Ryan LaMarre. He said LaMarre has looked like a big leaguer this spring and that he was worn down at the end of last summer when everyone saw him in Dayton. He is running well, throwing well, hitting well.

Just something to watch for when the bell rings.

Love these posts, 72 -- thanks. Very pleased to hear this about Lamarre. He's got a great profile from a scouting perspective -- nice to know that's translating to the field now.
