Robert Maddox

Since I'm currently attending Ohio University, I was hoping to be able to write a story about Maddox being drafted to the Reds. Luckily, he was in Athens over the winter working out with the Bobcats to prepare for spring training, and I was able to catch up with him.

Thanks for that Noonan. Ya never know with these mid round types, they could go either way like you so aptly point out with Chris Heisey who was drafted just one round sooner than Maddox was.

Exactly, I think his bat will dictate how far he moves up in the system.

Great kid though, it's very easy to pull for someone like him.
