    1. Joey Votto - Batting Average - .314 - Over
    2. Joey Votto - Home runs - 33.5 - Over
    3. Joey Votto - RBI 107 - Over
    4. Scott Rolen - Home Runs - 17.5 - Over
    5. Jay Bruce - Home Runs - 29 - Under
    6. Johnny Gomes - RBI - 67.5 - Over
    7. Edinson Volquez - Wins - 14 - Under
    8. Johnny Cueto - Wins -13 - Hopefully Over
    9. Bronson Arroyo - Wins - 15 - Even
    10. Francisco Cordero - Saves - 36 - Under

Cueto and Bronson were the toughest ones due to their health issues.
I have a sinking feeling, one will be under. Hope I am wrong, as that screws the season.

I think Gomes will get enough plate appearances to get his over, especially since Lewis is hurt and Hermedia was sent down.. No faith that Sappelt or Heisley will seize the job quickly enough to threaten the RBI goal.
Thank you Walt and Bob for going for it in 2010-2014!

    Re Cordero and 36 saves:

If the Reds are good this season, and he stays healthy, I don't see anyway he gets under 36 saves. Since 2004 when he became a full time closer Cordero has been under 36 saves twice. Heck even last season he was a roller coaster ride and he ended up with 40 saves.

The bet is really if he stays the closer the whole year.

He's in a contract year (probably his last big one) and he came in to camp in great shape and has pitched well in spring. I think he's going to have a bounce back year.

    Re: 2011 Reds Over/Unders

    1. Joey Votto - Batting Average - .314 - Over
    Votto wins the batting crown...

    2. Joey Votto - Home runs - 33.5 - Under
... at the expense of some power.

    3. Joey Votto - RBI 107 - Over
However, because of improved hitters in front of him, it's hardly noticeable.

    4. Scott Rolen - Home Runs - 17.5 - Under
By the All Star break, Rolen's moved to the second spot in the lineup to take advantage of his obp.

    5. Jay Bruce - Home Runs - 29 - Over
Who moves into the cleanup spot? Baker picks Bruce, who turns into an MVP candidate.

    6. Johnny Gomes - RBI - 67.5 - Under
Many thought Baker wouldn't sit him, but, by the end of the season, he's relegated to a strict platoon.

    7. Edinson Volquez - Wins - 14 - Over
Volquez doesn't have to be good; he only has to be decent and pitch a lot of innings/ starts. He'll find control pretty quickly. I hope.

    8. Johnny Cueto - Wins -13 - Over
I keep waiting for the true breakout. I'll settle for gradual increase to true #2 starter.

    9. Bronson Arroyo - Wins - 15 - Even
Two years from now-- and 30 wins later-- Redszone will still debate his worth.

    10. Francisco Cordero - Saves - 36 - Over
If the Reds are good at all, he'll get all the saves. That'll be more than 36.

    1. Joey Votto - Batting Average - .314
Over Votto continues his dominance and stays close to his BA from 2010.

    2. Joey Votto - Home runs - 33.5
    Over

    3. Joey Votto - RBI 107
    Over

    4. Scott Rolen - Home Runs - 17.5
Under Was wrong about Rolen last year, but I don't think he will approach that power again.

    5. Jay Bruce - Home Runs - 29
Over This is the year he busts out.

    6. Johnny Gomes - RBI - 67.5
If he gets 500 abs again Over

    7. Edinson Volquez - Wins - 14
Under I am not as high on Volquez as many/most are. I think he continues to show his inconsistancy with throwing strikes.

    8. Johnny Cueto - Wins -13
Over I'll take the Reds staff at their word, that Cueto won't be out long.

    9. Bronson Arroyo - Wins - 15
Over He just knows how to pitch.

    10. Francisco Cordero - Saves - 36
Under He pitches like the numbers suggest he will and he won't see the 2nd half as closer.

He's the one guy that just about everyone has overlooked this spring. He's been absolutely fantastic all spring. I'm not going to worry about Cordero unless he gives me a reason to worry about him. And I'm CERTAINLY not going to consider Chapman as closer if we've got Cordero & Masset on the club.
Chapman to the rotation!!!! Do it already!!!!
