This was something that they just dropped in there during the WLW broadcast. If anybody can verify, that'd be great. I've got no clue where you can find the results of minor league ST games.
Mini heart attack...Googled "Travis Wood" and this headline came up. Don't love seeing that 4th word in such proximity to his name.

Sounds like that's all he was scheduled to go.

Probably his throwing day. Might as well do it against live batters.

Intrigued a bit by this Costanzo guy. Found a blurb about him on an Orioles blog.

I thought Costanzo worked in the Yankees front office. I think I remember seeing something about him bringing back wool uniforms.

He also bowled over Bette Midler when he scored on that Francisco single. Anyone with tix for Rochelle, Rochelle tonight might be disappointed.

    Bottom of 8th

    Ondrusek in

Sanchez leans in with his elbow pad and takes the HBP
Fedroff doubles off the RF wall. Sanchez to 3rd.
Brown flies out to center. Sanchez scores.
~pitching change~ Chapman in. Strap in folks. 5 batters faced last time, 4 hits, 5 scored. Let's hope this goes better.
Carlin grounds to third, Fedroff to third
McBride up...last pitch at 114.6 mph...not sure if the gun is accurate...soft pop up to short to end the inning.

    7-3 Reds after 8

    NP guys.

    Top 9th

Berger in (I wonder if his first name is Cheese) ...nope, its Eric. That's just poor planning by his parents. *grin*

Francisco k's on a check swing.
    Phipps K's swinging.
Hi-C at the plate, battled to a full count and then worked the walk. About a 12 pitch AB.
Janish up...he's having a great AB too...got behind and worked it full...over 10 pitches now. And works the walk. Nice.
Hanigan up with men at 1st & 2nd, 2 down. Line drive single to center. Heisey scores
David Cook PH for Chapman...flies out to the RF corner to end the inning.

    Thx for the updates...

And not trying to read too much into this, but...

Why did Janish and Hanigan not start today? The other 6 are the starting defense...?

Hernandez probably started just to get the extra work in due to him just now coming back from that arm problem. As for Renteria...Dusty probably just throwing him a bone. He hasn't started that many. Just a guess though. And yeah, I wouldn't read much into it either.
