    Jay Bruce NOT out with torn labrum - or anything, for that matter.

    Just heard it on WLW from Tracy Jones.

    First thought is...ouch. This is not good news. Based on other players who have had this injury, Jay is going to be out for at least the season. So much for this being the season he puts it all together. Who is going to fill in? Heisey? Lewis? Hermida? The Reds now will really have to bank on the injured pitchers coming back healthy and the pitching overall being lights out.

    Yeah it wasn't funny the first time somebody tried an April Fools joke today. This isn't either.

    This kind of thing just isn't funny.
    Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

    Did Tracy say that in-between his sexual innuendo jokes? That was the type of non-humor I heard all morning yesterday on WLW. Something about a tripod and polishing it, etc.
