Juan Duran looks just like Will Smith. Maybe we should call him the Fresh Prince.

    From the DDN:

Starting pitcher Daniel Corcino, who made six starts for the Dragons toward the end of last season, could be the ace of the staff. He has been compared to the Reds’ Johnny Cueto, a former Dragon, for his stocky build and a fastball clocked at 97 mph. Baseball America ranks him No. 17 on its Reds list.

The fourth top-30 Reds prospect assigned to Dayton, according to BA, is outfielder Juan Duran, who checks in at No. 28.

Not sure if there is a better thread to bump for this, but the Dragons are being broadcast on WHIO locally here in Dayton tomorrow. Too bad I have a night class that goes until 8:30. Either way, I hope to catch a few innings on TV tomorrow night. Looks like WHIO planned its TV broadcast dates around the Reds' schedule. Smart move.

I think they're on the special channel (172?) - not the regular channel 7.

    From the DDN:

Hamilton and other top prospects such as outfielders Yorman Rodriguez (center) and Juan Duran (right) have prompted industry analysts to label the Dragons the league’s most athletic team. Team speed will not be a problem.

“You guys are in for a treat,” assured John Arellano, a longtime amateur baseball coach in Billings, Mont., who followed the rookie-league Billings Mustangs last season.
