    Miele wins the Hobey!

Yeah, I had no idea what the Hobey was either. But since it's a local guy - Congratulations!

Andy Miele scored on his first shift at Miami (Ohio). Four years later, the star forward won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award as the top player in college hockey.

"I never thought I'd win the Hobey," Miele said Friday night. "I'm very lucky."

I don't watch any collegiate hockey at all, but major kudos to the kid on the win.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Congrats to Andy Miele for an amazing accomplishment! I am not much of a hockey fan, but attending a Miami hockey game up in Oxford is a ton of fun. Very exciting and full of energy. Highly recommended if you are lucky enough to get hold of some tickets.
