I really really really hope Volquez throws strikes and lets the defense do their job tonight.

I cannot watch the entire game because I have too much going on at work tomorrow. Let's win the first game then go from there.

Hope Heisey can swing the bat well out of the leadoff spot while replacing Stubbs.

I'm interested to see how Heisey does from the leadoff spot tonight. I think the night off for Stubbs is good. Maybe Bruce will start to hit tonight? If not he should be on the bench for tomorrow. Honestly, I thought he should have been on the bench for tonight.

I went to Petco Park 4 years ago for Reds vs. Padres. Beautiful park. Every time the Reds have been back since reminds me of my wonderful visit

Gomes has turned into Adam Dunn. Low batting average. High OBP thanks to the walks. Some power. And a clanky glove in left.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Looks like a wide strike zone so far tonight. I know we didn't score right there, but I liked that we made Latos work, and hopefully we'll break through in the coming innings.

I think the first three Pads in the lineup equal Rolens RBI total this season, thus far..
