    Pete Rose on ESPN webpage

    I am disgusted.

ESPN has put Pete Rose on its website between Barry Bonds & Manny Ramirez

    With this Caption:

Hall Of A Dilemma How should the Hall of Fame acknowledge so many of the game's great yet tarnished superstars?

Now let me say this; I understand Betting on Baseball is a BIG NO NO

Ok but to put a Great Player like Rose next to Bonds and Ramirez...

IMO it really makes Pete look even worse when he is put in the same context as the Steroid Users...

Pete was the Absolute Gamer and played the Game the Right Way...

These Steroid Users Cheated to get better stats to get bigger paychecks.

I emailed ESPN my concern for putting Rose next to the Cheaters but I doubt they will do anything...

It's just disgusting ESPN has put his picture with those other guys...

People in General are a lot of times impressionable & I think it just tarnishes Rose even more by using his image and his situation with the Gambling in the same context as the guys that cheated their way into extending their careers...

I mean Manny was so ashamed... He Retired rather than face the consequences...

he altered the way he managed because he bet on the team.
Some days he bet more than others
On those days he would use the better bullpen guys

    that is cheating

    You are Wrong.

    How is that cheating?

Nevermind. Don't answer. You're just incorrect.

It's not really cheating, but if the Reds had a 1 run lead and called Nick Masset into the game because Dusty had a lot of money on the next game, it just doesn't help the team at all.

I really, really hope MLB wises up and puts Pete in the HOF before he passes away. Probably not going to happen as long as "Dud"....err I mean Bud Selig is the commissioner.

Pete made his bed. He deserves whatever he gets. I don't feel sorry for him, or Manny, or any of them.
