    Louisville Hitters

    The Good:

    Danny Dorn - AVG .500 - OBP .500 - SLG .818 - OPS 1.318

Danny leads the league in AVG and OPS. Hitting .300 against LHP and .667 against RHP.

    Dave Sappelt - AVG .387 - OBP .457 - SLG .645 - OPS 1.102

    Continues to impress.

    Jeremy Hermida - AVG .364 - OBP .440 - SLG .682 - OPS 1.122

We are not missing Balentien with Jeremy in his place.

    Michael Griffin - AVG .333 - OBP .333 - SLG .500 - OPS .833

He goes through very good spurts like this all the time.

    Chris Valaika - AVG .320 - OBP .346 - SLG .320 - OPS .666

Chris needs some extra base hits but he has picked up well from a very slow start.

    Devin Mesoraco - AVG .320 - OBP .393 - SLG .800 - OPS 1.193

Just outstanding and he looks like he can maintain close to these numbers.

    The Bad:

    Yonder Alonso - AVG .222 - OBP .276 - SLG .222 - OPS .498
    A sleeping monster.

    Todd Frazier - AVG .207 - OBP .303 - SLG .483 - OPS .786

Todd's patience and power look good. When he brings his AVG up, his other numbers should be excellent.

    Kris Negron - AVG .188 - OBP .235 - SLG .563 - OPS .798

Surprising power from Kris but too many Ks.

    Zach Cozart - AVG .167 - OBP .235 - SLG .200 - OPS .435

Zach looks lost right now. I don't expect him to challenge Janish any time soon.

    Brian Barton - AVG .091 - OBP .167 - SLG .273 - OPS .439
Needs some serious adjustments from independent league pitching. His lone hit was a catchable ball that was lost in the lights.

    Corky Miller - AVG .000 - OBP .167 - SLG .000 - OPS .167
Hasn't played much. Just 5 ABs.

It very early and these numbers don't mean much. But interesting to see how the hitters are starting out this year.

I'm obviously rooting for all of those guys, but if there was one that I'd love to see get hot it would be Frazier. I would much rather have him than Francisco caddy Rolen.
