I didn't think Phillips would end up missing a start with his injury.

Hello, fellow Red Legs fans...Happy Jackie Robinson Day!

From what I hear...there will be no delay...and @%#tsburgh has lost their last 4 games. I think we'll be alright.

    Dusty kills me sometimes.

We have a groundball pitcher, or at least a guy who pitches to contact and our 2B-SS-3B adds up to 105 years old. Add to that the worst Defensive Outfielder we have backing that side of the infield up, and we've got batting practice for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

    There's a master plan here:

Dusty plans to take this into extra innings (even though he can't use Chapman or Phillips, leaving us two players short), and with our pinch-hitters of Heisey and Janish, we'll have the better defense late in the game rather than Gomes and Renteria late in the game on Defense. Dusty's a genius! REDS win a higher-than-normal affair, 6-5.

I'm pretty sure Phillips would be in there if he didn't hurt himself in San Diego. He never misses starts.

I dunno, Kingspoint...I think you're giving the Irates WAYYY too much credit, my friend. I admit it isn't an "A Game" lineup...but, time will tell, I guess. I'm hoping for a win, anyway.

Janish/Renteria would be a better call.

I don't think Brandon is expected to return until Sunday.

Yeah even if it meant Janish at second.

On the pregame show Dusty was talking about Chapman not telling anyone about feeling some discomfort. I don't buy it. Seeing through in the mid 90s says something by itself.

The one thing I don't like about this line up is cairo batting eighth
