Shouldn't make a huge difference, I doubt Hermida gets that many at-bats with Gomes, Stubbs, Bruce, and Heisey all ahead of him.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

It means a lot more ABs for Cairo.

Yeah, Cairo is suddenly a very important backup.

I haven't heard much about Burton lately. Is his shoulder toast?

Glad they brought up a lefty bat. Reds have very few lefty hitters.

Without JF, it's only Votto and Bruce from the left side.

Per Fay, Burton was transferred to the 60 day DL. It's probably toast.

It's good that Hermida got put on the 40 Man Roster and called up. This was probably done to help motivate him. He was probably looking for teams to be traded to. I remember that he was looking for a team that would have him on a 40 man roster.

Of course, that was a game that Francisco started looking like a hitter coming out of a funk.

I missed Burton hurting his shoulder. When did that happen?
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning
