    It may increase the chances of scoring one run, but Hanigan is a very good hitter. His OBP was .405 last year, so it's not like he struggles to get on base. I may be fine with bunting with a marginal batter, but not with Hanigan. Long story short, I agree, I hate the bunt there.

    Dude the numbers are right there. This year, in clutch situations and behind, Votto's OPS is 1.214. In innings 7-9 his OPS is 1.797 (any situation).
