Actually, in Texas, you could get the death penalty and not me, if I agreed to a deal before you did, but that's for another forum

If this were someone else, I might agree with you.

But this is the same guy who single-handedly escalated the fight. He also is the guy who almost caused a fight in Houston when he started jawing at Carlos Lee over the mere fact that Lee was mad at himself for getting out - as if to say "what, you really though you could get a hit?"

Chris Carpenter is a punk. He's got no room to talk about anyone.

technically, he may have the higher ground, the way Paris Hilton may have the higher ground on Lindsay Lohan, but he doesn't have high enough ground to talk about explaining anything to his kids.

    Perfect way of putting it.

I not defending Carpenter just pointing out that calling Lindsay Lohan a bad role model while hanging a Paris Hilton poster in your locker is kinda hypocritical. At least its intellectually incongruent enough to make pounding the Carpenter horse meat on this issue a poor reflection.

I think a difference between Carp and BP on this subject is that Carp comes off as a phony.

YouTube - Cincinnati Reds vs St. Louis Cardinals full brawl HD

If you want to hate the Cardinals, check out LaRussa's, Carpenter's and LaRue's comments.

Particularry LaRue's comment at 4:55. "We will get to the postseason."
