    I have to wonder why Gomes was from the first pitch trying to go, though. I mean, he's hardly a base stealer and it just flat out stopped any hope. Oh well.

    Talk about a cliff... The Cards lineup post Berkman looks horrendous.

    Stubbs, Phillips, Votto, Bruce, and Rolen when healthy. And one of the best catching positions in baseball.
