    Red Sox looking for Catcher

With Meseraco playing well in Louisville, I would definitely give the Sawks a call about their interest in either RH.

Young staff, Hanigan signed for the next couple of years. I don't see the Reds moving anyone this year.

He might've been saying Ramon Hernandez. Mesoraco looks ready without a doubt. With Hanny's signing, I don't see him going anywhere. Ramon is swinging a really hot bat...might be a good time to "sell high" on him.

They won't trade him either, that was my main point.

I wouldn't mind considering trading Ramon. However, Ramon Hernandez just seems 'clutch' to me in big situations. It could be a valuable attribute that this team could miss down the stretch this season.

They'll miss his mentoring of Chapman more.

Ben Badler from BA threw out an interesting tidbit about a Mesoraco-(some SS prospect of Boston's) trade idea, saying it's dealing from a position of strength from both teams, and addressing weaknesses on both. I thought it was an interesting thought, but he seemed to think in a vacuum that Mesoraco was more valuable.

Was it Iglesias? He's suppposed to be a stud.

Sounds familiar. I'll see if I can find it.

Well, I certainly don't see them re-signing Ramon...do you? So that means letting him go and "maybe" getting draft picks back. If you can pull a deal now for some legit prospect...I'm all for it. Because, simply put, Mesoraco is ready and he'll get called up this year at some point. We'll have to clear out a spot for him at some point regardless...might as well strike while the iron's hot.

In a vacuum, Mesoraco. But Reds also have Grandal and are thin at SS RT @AaronElking Would you rather have Igelsias or Mesorcao?

More stonesy move for the Red Sox: Dangle Jose Iglesias to see if Devin Mesorcao would be available

I could care less if he walks after this year. I'm completely unconcerned with what he could get.

I also don't recommend going with Hanigan and a rookie catcher this season.

Too many young pitchers, too many variables involved with their development to be trying and get some magic beans for an older cow like Hernandez.

Why weaken the catching defense to get a ML player?

Too much of robbing Peter to pay Paul for me.
