Question: Do you root for the Reds this hard?

I never was really a Reds fan until the Mudcats got hooked up with Cincy. Didn't take long for me to become a Reds fan and I have loved the affiliation. Last year was a lot of fun. I guess I'm really about the minors more than the majors. As far as a diehard goes, I must be crazy. My wife and I are headed out Saturday morning to see the Saturday and Sunday games against the Smokies in Tennessee. As bad as Carolina is playing, I am really looking forward to the road trip.

Tarp is off at Slugger Field. Probably another 30 minutes or so.

Negron is due to lead off in the bottom of the 4th.

Until Yonder fixes the FIRST problem, it doesn't matter how many of the second things he does. He'll be in Louisville. Gotta figure out how to play LF before he'll ever find a spot up in Cincy. Hitting or not.

Yorman and Duran are both 1-for-1. Dayton has a 3-0 lead after two innings.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Middle of four, Carolina and Tennessee are knotted at five. If nothing else, this game is entertaining.

With Arredondo warming in the Bats' pen, here's Maloney's line:

    Code:
Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
    Maloney 4.0 3 1 1 1 2 0 2.25
    Pitches-strikes: Maloney 59-35
