The Reds plan to activate right-hander Homer Bailey off the disabled list to start the makeup game.

He was originally going to do one more rehab start in Dayton on Thursday and then start in Houston on Monday. So they are just shifting his start from Dayton to Cincinnati on Thursday.

Does this mean the Reds will skip Lecure on Tuesday? Also, any way Wednesday's day game becomes a night game?

Lecure is done as a member of the Cincy rotation, for now.

Here is the update on the rotation from John Fay:

    http://cincinnati.com/blogs/reds/201...aileys-return/

Mike Leake will start Tuesday’s game, followed by Travis Wood and Bailey. Sam LeCure, scheduled to start Wednesday, will move to the bullpen.

Edinson Volquez, Bronson Arroyo and Leake will start Friday, Saturday Sunday in Chicago.

Well, this explains it I guess. I was trying to watch the game on FSN Houston and it's showing freaking Poker. Rain out. *sigh*

I guess the good news is Homer coming back sooner.

Have they told the Astros yet that the game is likely to be postponed?
