Reds have the worst offense ever to be second in the league in runs. Today proves it.

Wood threw 2 strikes to JB, yet every pitch was called a ball.

    Yeah, that makes sense.

In the last two minutes, Marty said "Nelson Liriano" threw a no hitter last night, and Votto made the tag at 2nd base.

For anyone interested, Reds are up in the fifth.

As you might expect, two outs, nobody on.

    Aneury continues his fine outing.

The Reds always have a hard time facing someone for the first time.

Aneury mows them down in the fifth.

Aneury "Cy" Rodriquez sets them down in order again. Pitiful. Just pitiful.

Jonny Gomes is showing up guys like me, who have been critical.

He's obviously not the problem. Reds can't score even when he sits.

The walks just annoy me to death. With Wood's 4 walks thus far today, the Reds have moved into 5th place in MLB with the most walks allowed.

Astros out in the 6th. 104 pitches for Wood. That's probably it for him.

Good start for Wood, hopefully triggering a pitching resurgence.

Now let's score some runs and get this ballclub back on track.

Astros feeling sorry for the Reds offense. Pitching change. Wilton Lopez in for the 'Stros.

I'll take it. The four walks aren't good but otherwise it was OK.
