I'd rather see him sit this whole series. Not only is he scuffling at the plate, but this outfield is too big for him...he's more of a liability out there.

Volquez > Bailey stuff-wise IMO. Volquez has more velocity and movement on his fastball, his changeup is one of the better outpitches in the league, and his breaking ball is real good now as well. Bailey has a slew of nice pitches and much better command of them, but I don't think any of them are true knockout pitches in the vein of Volquez.Serious question, how does Bailey's "stuff" compare to Volquez's? Everyone says Volquez has ace potential, but couldn't you say the same about Homer?
