    I'm not sure what they're thinking either. I honestly have no idea why Dusty would bring in Leake to face Pujols, Holliday, and Berkman. Masset has pitched extremely well as of late. I know he's your "8th inning man" or whatever, but this was a high-leverage situation, and Masset should have been used.

    What is the use of having strict bullpen rules if you don't follow them? If people followed your reasoning you would always be adjusting your strategy based on the situation. Anarchy.

    Good call, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking. Something like bringing a closer in the game in the eighth inning, if there are a couple men on and the game's close? Ha! How absurd.

    I told you that getting to the Card pen would be important. Cards have good young arms but put geezers with nothing in first. We got a ballgame boys.

    Regardless of the outcome, Votto has had a good AB. Fouled off quite a few pitcher's pitches. Hopefully Miller leaves him one over the plate.
